A Note to Women Interested in Mirage for the First Time:

To potential new Mirage students,

It is with much sadness, that France and Francine Laplante, co-owners of Mirage Dance Studios announce the closure of the school effective September 2nd, 2011. Our decision to close the school for both renewing and potential new students was influenced by a broad range of business factors.

As the school was about to enter its 10th anniversary year, we have been extremely happy to have served the Orleans, Embrun and Rockland areas with Belly Dance classes as well as our exclusive Belly FunkTM dance classes and Shimmy ShapeTM dance fitness classes over this time period. We thank all of the women who did take classes with us over the years. Your support is very much appreciated.

On a happier note, we do plan to keep dance in our lives to the greatest extent possible. This will be done through continuing to perform professional Belly Dance shows and other avenues yet to be explored. If you wish to book our show for a wedding, corporate, or birthday event please call us at 613-835-2836. We would love to add a Belly Dance flair to your upcoming events.

As the school was about to enter its 10th anniversary year, we thank you for your loyal support during this extended period of time. Please also accept our gratitude for your trust in our ability to provide you with a fun and valuable experience of the Belly Dance art form that is so near and dear to our hearts. Your enthusiasm, dedication and hard work were inspiring. A special thank you also goes out to those students who ventured forward to try Mirage's new and exclusive Belly FunkTM dance classes and Shimmy ShapeTM dance fitness classes. This meant a great deal to us.

We lastly acknowledge and express a very special thank you to our dedicated staff members who helped so professionally and enthusiastically at our registration activities, product bazaars, and recitals. Without you, we would not have been able to provide such a high level of support to our entire student body.
